Apple Pay Contactless Payments

What is it?

Apple Pay has become the go-to payment method for many iPhone users. Contactless payments have become the norm in every situation, from deliveries to purchases and pickups.

Apple Pay is a contactless payment technology for most Apple devices, which is a simple to use, extremely efficient, and a secure alternative to traditional payment, whether youre in a restaurant, on a website or in an app.

Using this you can make payments using your iPhone and Apple Watch instead of physical cards or cash. The built-in technology of Face ID ensures privacy and security, allowing the transaction to be authorised within seconds.

Apple Pay supports most major credit and debit card providers around the world, including Visa, MasterCard and American Express. You still get all the benefits of using your physical card — so you wont miss out on any hard-earned points, miles or rewards.

How to set it up fast?

Setting up Apple Pay on your device is easy, simply add your credit, debit or pre-paid card to the Wallet app on your iPhone. All you need to do is to enter your card information and youre ready to go, although occasionally you will have to authenticate it through your mobile banking app depending on your provider. Remember to add your cards to any other Apple devices you want to use with Apple Pay.

Once your card has been added to your Wallet, you can edit your settings to suit you. Enable things like Apple Cash and the side button double click to work as a shortcut for for payments. You can add Express Transit Cards to pay for transit automatically without requiring a passcode or Face ID, edit your transaction information like default card, shipping address, and contact info, and toggle payments on Mac on and off.
